Born on 1 Jine, 1940, the artist lives and works in
        Plovdiv. He does not belong to  any   professional
        art organizations. A salient applied art  performer
        in the field of interior decorative  schemes,  wood-
        carving and iconography.
        Over the past decade Boris Damianov has turned
        his interest to painting.  Using oil and  acrylic col-
        ours, he has developed a style peculiarly tuned up
        to expressionistic abstraction of dynamically evo-
        lving suggestiveness.
